Gus Navarro represents and is owner of San Pedro Electric Sign Company (SPESCO), 701 Lakme Avenue, Wilmington, CA 90744. Mr. Navarro has served on the WIPAC since its inception, in 1974 and has been elected Chairman for four consecutive terms. As WIPAC Chair, Mr. Navarro believes that "you must get involved with your community to secure and protect your investments. By upgrading your environment you attract appropriate businesses to your community and that will create an increase in property value."

Mr. Navarro has been a former Honorary Mayor of Wilmington and Past President of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.

San Pedro Electric Sign Company (SPESCO) moved into the Wilmington Industrial Park in 1989 and excels in creating individual signage programs including backlit awnings. SPESCO provides in-house sign fabrication in its 20,000 s.f. state of the art manufacturing facility, secures the sign permits and has its own professional installation crews and trucks. SPESCO caters to the individual tenant and to the shopping center developer. SPESCO has fabricated signs for popular retail stores and commercial establishments, e.g. Blockbuster Music; Fry's Electronics, Orange Fair Market Place and the Sheraton LA Harbor Hotel.
